1. Service Scope

Authentic Appliance Repairs Ltd provides appliance repair, maintenance, installation, and appliance sales services for both domestic and commercial clients.
All work is performed with reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards.
Our service is based on the information provided by the customer at the time of booking. We do not accept liability for incomplete or inaccurate information that affects the service outcome.

2. Appointment Booking

Appointments must be scheduled in advance via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
While we make every effort to accommodate preferred times, availability cannot be guaranteed.
A call-out or diagnostic fee applies to all appointments and becomes non-refundable once our engineer has attended the premises.
If additional faults are discovered during service, they will be communicated before proceeding. Any approved additional work is carried out at the customer’s own risk.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due immediately upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, or secure payment links.
All parts, materials, and appliances remain the property of Authentic Appliance Repairs Ltd until full payment is received.
Late or non-payment may result in additional charges and suspension of further service.

4. Parts and Materials

We use genuine or equivalent-quality parts from trusted suppliers.

Parts are non-refundable once ordered, regardless of whether the repair proceeds.

No warranty is provided for parts supplied by the customer.

If a customer-supplied part is incorrect, fails, or causes further damage, a standard call-out fee and additional labour charges will apply.

5. Appliance Sales and Deliveries

Appliances sold by Authentic Appliance Repairs Ltd may be delivered and installed by third-party contractors.

We are not liable for any damage, delay, or loss caused by third-party couriers, installers, or delivery agents.

In such cases, we will provide the relevant third-party contact information for claims or follow-up.

6. Warranty

We provide a 30-day workmanship warranty on repairs and installations covering the same reported fault.
If the identical issue reoccurs within this period as a result of our workmanship, we will re-attend and rectify the issue free of charge.
This warranty does not cover:

Misuse, tampering, or improper appliance operation.

Damage resulting from age, wear, or unrelated faults.

Faults caused by plumbing, electrical, or external system failures.

Parts supplied by the customer or external sources.

7. Property Damage & Access

Customers must ensure safe, clear, and unobstructed access to the appliance.

We take reasonable care during service but are not liable for:

Damage to floors, walls, tiles, or surrounding areas when moving or removing appliances.

Scratches or marks caused by hidden debris, glass, or grit under appliances.

Leaks, pipe movement, or damage caused by seized, faulty, or inaccessible isolation valves.

Any water damage arising from plumbing components that fail or leak during or after the service.Customers must ensure that working isolation valves are accessible and in good condition before service begins.

Minor incidental damage may occur as part of moving heavy appliances and is deemed acceptable wear consistent with the nature of the service.

8. Commercial Clients

For all commercial or business clients:

Our total liability (including negligence) is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the service or goods supplied.

We are not liable for:

Business interruption, loss of revenue, or downtime.

Damage to stock, equipment, or data.

Consequential or indirect losses of any kind.Commercial clients are responsible for ensuring suitable insurance coverage for their premises and equipment.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Failure to do so may incur a cancellation fee equal to the call-out charge.
Missed or inaccessible appointments are charged in full at the standard call-out rate.

10. Refund Policy

Refunds are not available for completed diagnostic visits, labour, or call-out fees.

In the case of a valid warranty issue, we will re-attend and rectify the problem free of charge.

Refunds are only provided where required by UK consumer law.

11. Liability Disclaimer

Authentic Appliance Repairs Ltd takes all reasonable precautions to perform safe and effective work.

However, we do not accept liability for:

Pre-existing faults or defects.

Failure of other components following repair.

Incidental damage resulting from normal movement or installation of appliances.

Indirect, consequential, or economic losses.Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate information about the appliance and its condition.

Ensure access to power, water, and isolation valves.

Remove obstructions or hazards before our visit.
Failure to comply may result in delays or additional charges.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Authentic Appliance Repairs Ltd respects your privacy.
We collect and store your contact details (name, address, phone, email) solely for booking, invoicing, and communication.
Your information will not be shared with third parties except for deliveries, installations, or as required by law.
When online bookings become available, all data will be handled in compliance with UK GDPR.
